This is a cement birdbath in my yard. Since my cats don’t allow birds to get close enough to use a birdbath, I decided to fill it up with some of the stones that I have collected. These particular stones are from the Snoqualmie river, up by North Bend, Washington. It is one of my favorite collection sites. Not only are there many rock banks to choose from, but the energy and beauty of the river is wonderful. I water these stones, along with my plants and flowers, because they look so much better wet. Sometimes the energy of these stones pull me into picking them up and moving some of them onto my patio table for a while. Perhaps they get loneley for human interaction. Don’t you just want to pick each one up and take a closer look at it? Maybe just hold it in your hands for a few minuites? I can see how “pet Rocks” became so popular.
