Editorial Reviews
From Publishers Weekly
Eden (Energy Medicine) conducts workshops and lectures on the ancient practice of healing the body via its own energy systems. The first two chapters of her latest book serve as a primer, introducing nine basic energy systems, including the chakras, the meridians and the aura. Eden explains how keeping these energy systems balanced and flowing can help prevent illness, promote well-being and aid the body in self-healing. She also notes that while energy healing has been labeled an alternative method, its influence and importance has been increasingly recognized by research scientists and mainstream physicians. Eden then delves into a fascinating chapter-by-chapter discussion of health issues of interest to women, ranging from hormones, menstruation, sexuality, pregnancy and fertility to menopause and weight management, with accompanying energy exercises related to each topic. Included are tips to relieve PMS symptoms and hot flashes, techniques that get sexual energy flowing and a variety of movements designed to maintain overall energy balance. Proponents of energy work will no doubt welcome Eden’s new book, and open-minded readers unfamiliar with the concept of energy medicine may be lured by methods that are noninvasive, free of charge and freely available at one’s own fingertips. Hoarding crystals

Hoarding crystals…

Really?

Can you really have too many crystals?

hoarding crystals

Ever? I personally don’t think so…  I love rocks and crystals.  There is something uplifting and exhilarating about them, each and every one of them.  There are the quartz crystals, and the amethyst  crystals, and the citrine crystals, and the …

And not all pretty rocks are  crystals either.  There are some gorgeous agates and jasper’s and jade’s.

Each one has it’s own unique properties and qualities.  Stones and crystals are made up of certain common materials, yet enough variables  to make each of them different.  Take, for example the differences between the smooth cool bird’s egg blue of the turquoise and the deep northern sky blue of the lapis stones above.  Each one is unique in it’s own way and who can say one is more beautiful than the other?  Of coarse there are different uses for each of these stones, although each is considered a semi precious stone and both are often used in jewelry making.  So what are the differences, you ask?Natural Hexagonal Pile Gemstone Crystal Pendant Necklace, Stainless Steel Chain, Unisex, Power Healing Chakra

“Turquoise is perhaps the oldest stone in man’s history, the talisman of kings, shamans, and warriors. It is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch, healing to the eye, as if carved from an azure heaven and slipped to earth” according to the crystal-encyclopedia.

The turquoise is the symbol of friendship. It also brings peace to the home. This stone is a very personal and meaningful stone to one who wears it. Turquoise takes on the characteristics of the owner. Turquoise carries great wisdom of basic truth within it, while the meaning of the color turquoise is open communication and clarity of thought.

Lapis Lazuli or lapis for short, is a deep blue semi-precious stone prized since antiquity for its intense color.

Lapis Lazuli is a standout amongst the most looked for stones being used since man’s history started. Its profound, divine blue remains the image of sovereignty and honor, divine beings and force, soul and vision. It is a general image of knowledge and truth.

In antiquated times Lapis Lazuli was most profoundly respected in light of its lovely shading and the important ultramarine color dye got from it. Its name originates from the Latin lapis, “stone,” and the Persian lazhuward, “blue.” It is rock framed by various minerals, for the most part Lazurite, Sodalite, Calcite and Pyrite, and is a rich medium to illustrious blue with gold specks (pyrites). Lower-grade Lapis is lighter blue with more white than gold bits, and is some of the time called denim Lapis.

Both of these beautiful blue stones are used in raising your vibration and energy healing work.  They add to your comfort and peace by wearing them or using them in healing practices.  You just can’t have too many healing stones and crystals.  The more you have the better you feel!  Place them around you home and office to enhance the  feelings you want to increase.
